We are proud to offer dental services for special needs patients. It is important to us that each and every patient feels comfortable coming to the dentist.
The most common anesthetic we use is a local anesthetic. This blocks pain in a specific area of the mouth. We often apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before we give the injection.

I have been bringing my son to Star Pediatric Dentistry for a few years. They have always been so kind and go out of their way to make sure my son is comfortable. My girls, (ages 5 and 21 months) absolutely love going to the dentist! They love the bright colors that the office is decorated in, the fun “gifts” that they give away and the awesome personalities of the staff. Dr. Verma and his dental techs are amazing with young kids. They show the kids the dental tools and let them see they are not scary, they take their time with the cleanings and visits and all with smiles on their friendly faces. They truly love what they do and it shows each and every visit. I would recommend star pediatric dentistry 100% of the time!
I've been taking my kids to Star Pediatric Dentistry office for the past 3 years and I can't recommend it enough. The whole environment is very pleasant and the staff is very friendly. Dr. Verma is always taking the time to explain and making the kids feel comfortable before and during the procedure. Because of this office, my kids are never afraid to go to the dentist and always leave there with a smile on their face! Super clean and kids-oriented!
My daughter was seen today for her first dental visit. She is typically anxious for medical visits and everyone at Star Pediatric made her feel safe and comfortable, starting with the office staff. My daughter was then checked by Josephine who so greatly explained all of the tools she would use prior to looking inside her mouth. Next, Dr. Donohue came in and was extremely friendly and gentle. We ended the visit with stickers and a prize and to our surprise, no tears and lots of smiles! Would definitely recommend Star Pediatric Dentistry to anyone looking for a great dentist for their little ones!
The office is clean and definitely centered around children as it should be. The hygienists and dentists are extremely patient and great with children. I bring both my kids here and would recommend them (and have recommended them) to family and friends!
