We are proud to offer dental services for special needs patients. It is important to us that each and every patient feels comfortable coming to the dentist.
The most common anesthetic we use is a local anesthetic. This blocks pain in a specific area of the mouth. We often apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before we give the injection.

Patient staff that takes time to explain and answer any questions. They help my children feel comfortable during their visits. There are tv’s to watch during the exam and they give a prize token after each visit. My kids actually look forward to going. Dentist and hygienists are professional and knowledgeable. Front desk service is courteous and flexible on scheduling. The waiting room is clean and has entertainment for the kids. Wait times are never more than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this office!
Today was my toddler’s first dental exam, and it was a very positive experience. The office is extremely clean and kid friendly. Jessica, RDH was so sweet and gentle with my son. She was also very thorough and addressed all of my concerns. Dr. Rishi was just as great and very patient focused. I will definitely visit this practice regularly and highly recommend to others.
I have been bringing my son to Star Pediatric Dentistry for a few years. They have always been so kind and go out of their way to make sure my son is comfortable. I had to bring my son in for dental work today and lately he has been nervous to go to doctors, dentists, etc...it took a while to get him into the office, but once we made it to the waiting room the staff was just wonderful. They really took their time with him and did everything to ensure he was relaxed. They even had him laughing at one point! I am so thankful for the patience and kindness of everyone in this office!!!
I was so disappointed i had to switch dentists for my son because of insurance until i went here yesterday!! Everyone was great-they were all great with my 7 yr old son and am so happy i ended up here!! Great first experience! Thank you!!
