We are proud to offer dental services for special needs patients. It is important to us that each and every patient feels comfortable coming to the dentist.
The most common anesthetic we use is a local anesthetic. This blocks pain in a specific area of the mouth. We often apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before we give the injection.

My daughter was seen today for her first dental visit. She is typically anxious for medical visits and everyone at Star Pediatric made her feel safe and comfortable, starting with the office staff. My daughter was then checked by Josephine who so greatly explained all of the tools she would use prior to looking inside her mouth. Next, Dr. Donohue came in and was extremely friendly and gentle. We ended the visit with stickers and a prize and to our surprise, no tears and lots of smiles! Would definitely recommend Star Pediatric Dentistry to anyone looking for a great dentist for their little ones!

We love STAR Pediatric Dentists! My 3 children are patients here and LOVE GOING TO THE DENTIST! Dr. Donohue and Dr. Verma are wonderful! My kids feel comfortable, choose their favorite movie or show to watch while getting a cleaning and always leave with a coin to choose a prize. The hygienists and staff are all so great and friendly as well! I highly recommend this office!
