We are proud to offer dental services for special needs patients. It is important to us that each and every patient feels comfortable coming to the dentist.
The most common anesthetic we use is a local anesthetic. This blocks pain in a specific area of the mouth. We often apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before we give the injection.

Dr. Donahue and rest of staff are excellent. They were so good with my almost 2 year old making her feel so comfortable and at ease. We have also seen Dr Verma in the past and he is great. I have been bringing my son to Star Pediatric Dentistry for a few years. They have always been so kind and go out of their way to make sure my son is comfortable. I had to bring my son in for dental work today and lately he has been nervous to go to doctors, dentists, etc...it took a while to get him into the office, but once we made it to the waiting room the staff was just wonderful. They really took their time with him and did everything to ensure he was relaxed. They even had him laughing at one point! I am so thankful for the patience and kindness of everyone in this office!!!
My son needed extensive work done and Dr. Verma was so kind and thorough. He went over everything that needed to be done and addressed all of my concerns. He did a wonderful job and even carried my son to the car for me.
