We are proud to offer dental services for special needs patients. It is important to us that each and every patient feels comfortable coming to the dentist.
The most common anesthetic we use is a local anesthetic. This blocks pain in a specific area of the mouth. We often apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before we give the injection.

The staff at Star Pediatric are excellent. My son was petrified of the dentist and wouldn’t even let other dentists look in his mouth but thanks to Star Pediatrics he’s not scared anymore and actually tells his friends how he loves his dentist. I have been bringing my son to Star Pediatric Dentistry for a few years. They have always been so kind and go out of their way to make sure my son is comfortable. I had to bring my son in for dental work today and lately he has been nervous to go to doctors, dentists, etc...it took a while to get him into the office, but once we made it to the waiting room the staff was just wonderful. They really took their time with him and did everything to ensure he was relaxed. They even had him laughing at one point! I am so thankful for the patience and kindness of everyone in this office!!!
My son is so very nervous at the dentist, in fact this is the third dentist I have been to. His previous dentist had suggested anesthesia at the hospital to get his teeth cleaned but that made me so nervous! I gave it one last shot and tried star pediatric dentistry based on lots of positive reviews on Facebook and I was in complete and total shock that today I actually got a full cleaning out of him and even x-rays. Such a serious relief taken off of me that I no longer have to bring him to the hospital to go under anesthesia for a simple cleaning. God bless star pediatric dentistry !!!
I have been taking my son to Star Pediatric Dentistry for years now. Everyone in the staff is so friendly and really knows how to talk and work with children. They make it such a stress-free experience. My son is not always the easiest to work with and he has come so far with his appointments and gets better every time. I would give them more then 5 stars if I could. Thank you for always making our visit a pleasant one!
