Dear Star Pediatric Dentistry Family,
We are privileged to be a part of the communities that we serve. We have a responsibility to ensure that our patients are safe when coming to our office, and our dental staff is safe as well. The New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (NJAPD) and the American Dental Association (ADA), have encouraged dental providers to aid in ensuring the safety of our communities, by postponing any non-emergent dental care for approximately two weeks. Therefore, we will be closing for non-emergent care from 03/17/2020 until 03/30/2020.
We did not take this decision lightly, but we want to ensure that everyone is safe. Visits will be rescheduled, and we will all be healthier and better for it. If your child is experiencing any dental pain or a dental emergency, please call our office at 732-303-7827. We will have limited staff in on certain days to accommodate our emergency visits. Instructions for how to reach either myself or Dr. Donohue will be on the answering machine message. You may also reach us via Facebook messenger.
As your dental health provider, we are a major part of health care delivery in our community, and continuously prioritize the overall health of our patients. Taking responsible action right now is the best thing we can do at this time for our patients, for our office team and for our health care system.
The goal here is to limit the spread and keep patients and our community safe. Right now, our priority is to do our part to decrease the rate of transmission.
Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation as we navigate forward through this challenging and uncertain time. All we ever want to do is ensure that our patients and families, and our dental staff are safe, healthy and happy. Stay safe.
Dr. Verma and Staff of Star Pediatric Dentistry
