Rishi Verma, DDS, FAAPD – Founding Partner

Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Specialty Permit #06022

I was born and raised in Canada (… not in an igloo, eh…), and completed my Honours Bachelor of Science in Biological Chemistry at the University of Toronto in 2002. Following my undergraduate studies, I ventured south of the Canadian border and obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the prestigious Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.

After dental school, I wanted to expand my dental horizons and underwent rigorous training in a General Practice Residency at Harvard University, sharing my time between Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Dana Farber Cancer Insititute. It was during this time in Boston where I found my passion for Pediatric Dentistry. Subsequently, I obtained a Fellowship Certificate in Special Care Dentistry at Helen Hayes Hospital in Rockland, NY, where I was privileged to treat special needs patients both in the traditional dental setting and in the operating room. Following this fellowship, I spent two additional years of Pediatric training at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY, where I received extensive training in all aspects of pediatric dental care. During my time at Montefiore, I was elected by my colleagues and attending faculty as the Chief Resident of the Pediatric Dental program.

All of my extensive post-graduate training has enhanced my expertise in all aspects of Pediatric Dentistry, including behaviour management and guidance techniques, preventive and restorative treatment of caries, treatment of developmentally disabled children and adults, major and minor dental trauma, orthodontics, and treatment of patients under sedation and in the operating room. I am one of few pediatric dentists in the U.S. that is certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

I currently reside in Marlboro, NJ with my wife, Priti, an optometrist by profession, and two beautiful and energetic children, Jiya and Jai.

Diplomate – American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Specialty Permit #6780

Dr. Donohue was born and raised here in Monmouth County, NJ. Up for the adventure, she took a quick trip down south and completed her undergraduate degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She then moved to NYC for dental school and graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at Helen Hayes Hospital in Rockland County, New York, which focused on treating patients with special needs. During her time at Helen Hayes, she developed a passion for making dentistry both accessible and enjoyable for all patients, solidifying her decision to become a pediatric dentist. She went on to complete a vigorous two-year pediatric dental residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where she served as chief resident. After spending seven years in NYC, she’s happy to be back home serving the community she grew up in. When not at the office, you can find her spending time with her friends and family, traveling the world, and spoiling her French Bulldog Cameron.

Dr. Krisha Saxena

Dr. Krisha Saxena was raised in Central Jersey. She traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she attended Marquette University and majored in Biomedical Sciences before returning to New Jersey. She graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine—finishing in the top 5% of her class. She then decided to further her education with a general practice residency at Monmouth Medical Center where she focused on the treatment of medically complex patients as well as pediatrics.

After several years in general dentistry, Dr. Krisha realized that she had a passion for caring for children. Her favorite days in the office were when families with young children came in, and she loved helping them realize that coming to the dentist can be a positive experience. She decided to pursue additional training to specialize in pediatrics.

She completed her pediatric residency at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where she served as Co-Chief Resident and was awarded the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry “Resident of the Year” scholarship. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and New Jersey Dental Association.

When not in the office, Dr. Krisha can usually be found spending time with her family. She also enjoys dancing, Disney, crafts, and organizing! She resides locally with her amazing husband and their two wonderful daughters.
